It was abstracted from the research that the topical therapy with the use of chymotrypsin, trypsin, monoxychloroserene and corneal scrub with the use of ether, silver nitrate and iodine does not reduce the appearance of herpes simplex. It was suggested in the research that the properties of these components are not effective in treating the herpes simplex condition as measured.
